The Secret Garden is a musical adapted from novel of the same name by Frances Hodgson Burnett. The story illustrates English orphan Mary Lennox’s journey of traveling across the ocean to live with her brooding uncle. Through her life and adventure in uncle Archibald’s manor, Mary digs deeper into her personality and family history while bringing new-life into a long neglected garden.

Jumping back and forth between those who lived and those who passed with historic dress styles of the 1910s, the costume design for The Secret Garden investigates the themes of love, time and companion through color, pattern and appliqué details.
